Much to our surprise the toll was $12.00 to get on the island. We pulled into the Periwinkle RV Park, the only RV Park on the island. The park was very unique, they have an area with several caged wild species such as birds, iguana’s, and key deer.
We were told the beach was about ½ mile walk from RV Park. It really felt like a mile. We strolled the white powdery sands of the beach. The sand is like dust but very, very pretty against the island.
We did not do much since we arrived late and left early the next day.
