The sky is crystal clear with very high winds of about 30-35mph. We headed back into town to the mechanic Bill Crawford. After replacing the fuel filter, Big Red is running much better.
10:00am – We are on our way to San Antonio with the help of a tail wind. It’s 2:00pm and we have arrived in San Antonio. Big Red bucked a few times getting here, so we have decided to stop at the Northside Ford Dealership to have him checked out. WOW, we have never seen a dealership soooo big.

They did a diagnostics test and found out that Red has a bad ignition coil, the repair would be about 1 ½ hours. John and I walked around the area and noticed a bus stop, and discovered an open lot to maybe park for the night and take the bus into downtown San Antonio. We got a schedule from one of the buses that is an Express bus to Downtown. After speaking with Service Rep., he advised not to stay in the open lot, they will tow you away. That shot that idea.
Big Red has been repaired and we are on our way to a Wal-Mart parking lot, closer to downtown. Checking out our bus schedule, we noticed the express bus stop near by. At least that’s what it looked like on the schedule. We walked to were we thought it was supposed to be. Since we could not find it, we asked a clerk in Wal-Mart, who was very helpful. After a 15 minute walk, we were able to locate Stop #3. So, in the morning we will move ourselves closer to the bus stop.
