This morning we only had about 1 hour drive to Goodyear, AZ. were our friends Dave and Janette live. They moved here from Washington State in 2001. Their son Tyler attends Arizona State University, and has approx. 3 more years. Dave and Janette live in an “Active Adult Community” called Palm Valley and are both retired. Janette has been very busy lately helping their daughter Amy with her wedding. They also have one other child Melissa. Amy and Melissa reside in Washington State.
There are two golf courses in this community, Tuscany and Palm Valley. We had lunch at the Tuscany golf course. After lunch, Janette and I went clothes shopping. I have been looking for skorts, which I really thought, if any place would have the best prices would be Arizona. NOT!!!! It was just as hard to find them in Arizona then in California. The men stayed at the golf course and hit ball at the range.
