March 14, 2006 - Goodyear, AZ

The longer we stay in Arizona the better the weather has become. Yesterday it was about 62 degree high. Today, the high was 72, now that is my kind of weather. Dave, John and I played golf at the Estella Golf Course. The course is flat, tree lined with a few water hazards. Our tee time was 12:07pm; we paid $29.00 w/cart. That’s a deal this time of year.

Dave and Janette invited their neighbors, Joan and Hank for dinner. Who also moved here from Washington State. They like to travel a lot in their motor home. Hank and I had great conversation sharing our travels and me showing him our Microsoft Streets and Maps w/GPS software. I wouldn’t doubt it if he goes and buys the software tomorrow. Stay tuned….I’ll let you know.
In the evening, John bar-b-qued a tri-tip, while Janette fixed up the side dishes. Dave made a great Aioli sauce for the Artichokes and Joan made the BEST Lemon (fresh lemons) Meringue pie I have ever had. Everything was most delicious!!!! It was early to bed, because in the morning we are going to Superstition Mountain to watch the LPGA Safeway Classic.
